By LaRoyal: On July 6, 2026, the Ikorodu Local Government Market Board launched a campaign on Allinson Street to establish boundaries for roadside traders and regulate motorcycle riders during school hours, to reduce traffic and distractions for students. The initiative, led by Hon. Prince Abdullateef Adedayo Abayomi Ladega, the Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government through the Market Board led by the Special Adviser to the Chairman on Market and Chairman, Ikorodu Local Government Market Board Hon. Misbauideen Adegboyegba Alejo, emphasized keeping the main road clear. Alejo urged traders to use designated spaces for their goods and to collaborate with market stakeholders for improved organisation.
