Today, Nov. 30th, 2022: The All Progressives Congress (APC) Party Coordinators across the State, under Lagos State APC Party Secretariat, Acme road, Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria held a joint session of APC Candidates / LGA Chairmen indoor meeting towards 2023 General Election victorious achievement. At present were All APC Party Chairmen; Otunba Olasunkanmi Tijani, Ikorodu Divisional APC Party Chairman; Hon. Waheed Oladimeji Animashaun, Ikorodu Local Government APC Party Chairman; Igbogbo LCDA APC Party Chairman, Hon. Taiwo Onanuga; Otunba Bayo Lawson, Ikorodu West APC Party Chairman; Hon. Sarumi Ademola Sheriff APC V/Chairman Ijede LCDA; The Ikorodu Constituency 1 APC Candidate, Hon. Ogunleye Gbolahan Adetokunbo (OGA); Ikorodu Constituency Il, Hon. Aro Moshood Abiodun (AMA), and Agege Federal House Of Representative APC Candidate, Hon. Wale Ahmed. The meeting was well organized and proactively coordinated with a peaceful coexistence relationship.

President Muhammadu Buhari and National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, led Governors of the party, Ministers, National Working Committee members and other party leaders to Jos, Plateau State to flag off the presidential campaign rally of the party. I express my deepest condolence on the passing of Late Alhaji Akibu Adedoyin Adewunmi, the former Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government.  It is sad that we lost Alhaji Adewunmi at a time when his wealth of experience as an astute politician and grassroot mobilizer will be highly needed. We however take solace in the fact that Late Alhaji Adewunmi lived a life worthy of emulation and survived by illustrious children among whom is Hon (Mrs) Shukurat Okeowo Adewunmi, a former Sole Administrator, Ikorodu North  LCDA.  The deceased will always be remembered for his outstanding contributions to political and  socio-economic development of Ikorodu Division.  I therefore commiserate with the entire family members and political associates of Late Alhaji Adewunmi and pray that Almighty Allah grants them the fortitude to bear  this irreparable loss.  Adieu Papa!
