Rehabilitation and reconstruction of major road connection of Lagos-Shagamu Expressway

The project includes expansion of the highway to three lanes in both directions, as well as maintenance and construction of several bridges and flyovers. As a main artery of Nigeria’s road network, the vital expressway withstands a heavy volume of vehicle traffic, including those with high axle loads. Construction requires a sustainable solution reflective of the general environmental and specific traffic related needs of the dual carriageway. FG introduces new taxes on beer, imported vehicles, plastics

The Federal Government has introduced new set of taxes on beer, imported vehicles and single use plastics. Fire razes Ooni’s palace

  Fire razed a section of the palace of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, on Friday night after one of the electrical appliances exploded.  The Nation gathered that the incident occurred on around 11:30pm and was noticed by one of the palace guards.  A statement by the Director, Media and Public Affairs,  Ooni’s Palace, Comrade Moses Olafare confirmed the incident, blaming it on power surge.
