IKORODU LOCAL GOVERNMENT 2ND EDITION, ANNUAL ”SACRIFICE OF PRAISE”.

Today, Thursday 14th of April, 2022; The Ikorodu Local Government, under the administration of The Executive Chairman, Hon. Wasiu Ayodeji Adesina had a Thanksgiving program, tagged “Sacrifice Of Praise” in the council secretariat. _ The program got started through Christian doctrine ways of praying by the Pastor and was focused on the well-being of the fewer privy people in Ikorodu Central. _ Bible scripture read by, Mrs. Bolanle Adesina; The wife of the Executive Chairman, and Mrs. Wonuola Oshinowo; The APC Lagos East Senatorial Woman Leader, from Psalm chapter 116: 16-19 & 50:5 which was pronounced in our Yoruba dialect. - Praise and worship songs took place thereafter scriptures were read, as people rejoice and offer dances for the positive renewal of their minds to praise God. - Here is the welcome address made by the executive Chairman; All protocols are duly observed. - I had made some promises during my first term of administration but be rest assured to fulfill all righteousness. Because of the fear of God in us, we have been able to embark on so many programs that will uplift the less privileged within the Ikorodu axis, even though the local government is faced with funding challenges, we have been able to achieve little for our people. I want to thank everybody and also inform you, that today about sixty widows, and old people will go away with token money and other gift items. On this behalf, I want to thank everybody, I want to appreciate you for coming. ... As the Pastor said, some of us here last year, are also here today, and by the special grace of God; we will also alline next year for good reason. I also appreciate all the staff members of the Ikorodu Local Government for their enthusiasm, for it is only God who can reward you for your support, and diligence. The Almighty God will be the guiding light for our direction and tower to run the regime productively, and successfully. In conclusion, your partnership and support will encourage my administration for greater development, and to make Ikorodu a greater place to abide. _ Today's program means a lot to me because it is a sustainable Thanksgiving event from the inner mind.
