OGA’s Biography & Intention For Good Governance

Ogunleye Gbolahan Adetokunbo was born on the 6th of December 1974 to the family of Prince Abiodun Ogunleye, an Ikorodu Prince, and Princess Christiana Olatoun Ogunleye(Nee Thomas). 

He attended Loral Nursery and Primary School and the UPE School 1 Fesrac Town between 1980 and 1986.

His Secondary Education was also spent in 2 Schools. He attended Awori College Ojo from 1987 to 1989 where he sat for and passed his JSS Examinations.  He then proceeded to the Lagos State Model College Kankon Badagry where he sat for his Senior Secondary Examinations in 1992. From there he was admitted to study Economics at the Lagos State University, Ojo, where he graduated with a BSc in Economics in the year 2000.

Ogunleye Gbolahan Adetokunbo (OGA) is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management and the Chartered Institute of Taxation Nigeria. He is a Businessman and Farmer.

OGA is also a Director at Chrisolath Nigeria Limited an Agric and Agro-Allied company and the Chairman, Brigid Diamond and Gold Nigeria Limited an Event Management and Environmental Services Company all based in Lagos, Nigeria.

Politically,  OGA has tried to contribute to its quota. He was the Sole Administrator of Ikorodu Local Government from June 2016 to July 2017. A short period saw a massive improvement with the tarring and lightning up of Solomade Estate and the Adaraloye network of roads linking Igbogbo Road. The Lowa Estate was also not left behind as a network of roads was also completed within this period.

OGA is result oriented and like he says driven to achieve those positive results by his love for the people, a love that is genuine and borne out of an innate desire to do good.

If given the opportunity to represent Ikorodu Constituency 1, OGA promises that his shift from the Executive arm of government to the Legislature will bring about a cordial and cooperative relationship to help push needed projects and Legislation that will benefit the good people of Ikorodu.
