Ikeja New Era Lions Clubs' Presentation Of 11th Installed President, Installation Of Other Club Officers, And Awardees.

The District Governor of The Lions Club International, District 404B-2, Lagos, Nigeria; Lion Aare Lekan Owolabi MJF on this date, December 4th, 2022 disclose his intention of goodwill message, to congratulate Lion Taiwo Esther Aregbesola. 


Says the demonstration of confidence in Lion Taiwo Esther Aregbesola's members has reposed in her to lead and make a difference in others to encourage her to put more effort for the stability, and productivity of the club, because the growth of the association depends greatly on the clubs since her installation day on Sunday, 28th of August, 2022 during the DG Presentation. 


He stated that today's event which was held at the Lagos NUC Pavillion event center, plot 5, Block B, NERDC road, CMD, beside Tisco Plaza, alausa CMD, Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria is to present Lion Taiwo Esther to the public as a Club President, install other Club Officers for 2022 / 2023 Lions Service Year, and also raise funds for their club Activities and Projects. 


Humanitarian awards were presented to the awardees, among them is Dr. Wole Ajifowoke for their commitment, and support towards making society a better place, and for the development of Technical Education in Lagos State; and a special congratulations from Lion Oriyomi Adetunji NLCF, MJF. to Lion Oluwayomi Pelumi David NLCF as Chairman Media Team Presentation Committee & Chairperson National Convention.


At this point, the International Lions Club, Ikeja New Eras’ awardees, and the newly install club members thereby pledge to be helpful in society, dedicated and committed to the club activities for the development of the Lions Club International, District 404B-2, Ikeja New Era Lions Club, Lagos, Nigeria and to impact the world at large. 


In an interview with a past President of Ikeja New Era Lions Club, Lion Bunmi Oshinowo, She said Lion Club is a humanitarian organization, we virtually help the fewer privileged, so in the Ikeja community, they have been able to contribute their quota towards contributing to their lives positively. 


She said they have been able to feed the hungry, and donated eyeglasses to the people with sight issues in the community, those are part of the project they did in the past two months. She also said we want people to emulate them as Lions, to be their brother's keepers, and to love their neighbor as their selves. One hand can not carry the load on the head, but with supportive hands, it will be easier. The Governor thereby encourages Lion Taiwo Esther the President, to put more effort into the stability, and productivity of the club for effective sustainability purposes.
