The Ikorodu Local Government Executive Chairman Projected higher generated revenue through budget retreat planning.

The Ikorodu Local Government under the administration of The Executive Chairman, Hon. Wasiu Ayodeji Adesina, The Legislative Arm, the Management Team, and The entire staff of the local government Foster Local Government Economic Development to aim for higher generated revenue through good governance, and cordial relationships with the masses. 


The Executive Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government, Hon. Wasiu Ayodeji Adesina had their 2023 2 days budget retreat on Wednesday- Thursday, January 11th- 12th, 2023  in Admos Hotel, Imota, Lagos, Nigeria to foster local government economic development through good governance, sustainable cordial relationship, and use of technology to generate their internal revenue into the local government purse.


Says, as of the year 2020, 2021 to 2022 the Ikorodu LG budget internal revenue was able to invent ''One hundred and fifty million nairas (N150,000) only'' as their annual total expenditure, but he thinks since the Lagos State Government has taken over the Ikorodu local government corporate and commercial revenue planning,  the projected annual revenue has to drop to fifty million nairas (N50,000) GDP only. He thereby projected the annual budget revenue with the management, legislators, and staff to be ''One hundred million nairas only'' for the year 2023 as an agreement. Because all of us as to be on the same page. Says, the Executive Chairman.

in an interview with the Ikorodu Local Government Executive Chairman, Hon. Wasiu Ayodeji Adesina said the budget retreat is all about the local government's annual meeting, where the proposed budget is been tracked out for community stakeholders to relate it to the people. Says, local governments are going to concentrate more on security and education. A peaceful society will secure a human to do more projects. Very soon we are going to officially establish our security team, and also will ensure primary schools are in standard form. He also appeals to the people to please go and get their Permanent Voters' Cards (PVCs) and vote for APC Party, starting from our Presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu; His Excellency Governor Babajide Olushola Sanwoolu; distinguished Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru; Hon. Babajimi Adegoke Benson; former sole administrator, Hon. Ogunleye Gbolahan Adetokunbo (OGA) and others. Says, Adesina.


Government Protection for better planning is the quality of a good government, and it improves the policies of life and property. A government that can think about the people, and give the best services at Ikorodu Local Government, is much better than before. Projections from where we started, the numbers that we got from the revenue before it becomes ''Five million naira only'' to over ''One hundred and fifty million naira only. So, it's to say we are working. The dividend of a good democracy is to make everything better, and I want to thank the leadership of Lagos State because Lagos State is leading while others follow.
