Sanwo-Olu Commissions SAIL Innovation Lab; Shettima Commends Senator Abiru, and Wife.

The Board of Trustees, SAIL Foundation, has officially launched the SAIL Innovation Lab facility in Ikorodu, Lagos State on Friday. The facility, which provides in-demand tech skills to motivated youths within the senatorial district, is an initiative by Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru and his wife, Mrs. Feyisola Abiru. In attendance at the official commissioning of the facility were prominent personalities including His Excellency, the Vice President-elect, Senator Kashim Shettima; His Excellency, the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-olu; members of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC); the Ikorodu Federal House of Representative, Hon. Babajimi Adegoke Benson duly represented by the iCARE foundation director general, Mayor Dean Sanwoola; some members of the Lagos State Executive Council; the local government Chairmen; royal fathers; community leaders, as well as corporate and technical partners. Selected participants from previous cohorts of the programmes offered at the lab were also present to witness the commissioning.

According to the Lagos east senatorial district legislator, Senator Mukail Adetokunbo Abiru, he said, the ''Sail Innovation Lab'' will continue to be a community based excise which will help everybody in the modern technology age. There are jobs out there but the main problem is that we don't have the skills to acquire it. The Sail Foundation is the innovation and Idea of me and my wife. And for every participant, including who are still going to be benefiting from the ''Senator Abiru Innovation Lab (Sail)''; The Sail remain free of charge. Appreciation goes to the entire Abiru family; It is the right time, Senator Said.

His Excellency Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olushola Sanwo-olu said during is public address; Entrepreneur will be converted into Sail lab to work in partnership with the technology we are innovating in Yaba to bring these types of innovative idea to every communities in Lagos State in other to transform life within our jurisdiction.

This is for the future, and the future is now; Take care of it as if you own it, Governor Sanwo-olu said.
