The LGSC Chairman Commend Ikorodu local government Chairmans' effort on infrastructural developmental growth.

The Chairman of Lagos State Local Government Service Commission (LGSC), Hon. Kamal Ayinde Bayewu and colleagues paid an official welfare courtesy visit to the Ikorodu local government so as to observe the well being of the staffs and their relationship with the Executive Chairman, Hon. Wasiu Ayodeji Adesina.
After all protocols was duly observed by Miss Adeyemi Oreoluwa from the public offence unit, local government service commission. 
The LGSC Chairman improvised during his public address that the general well being of the our staffs is very paramount to us and we also advise the staffs to work in synergy with their Executive Chairman, Hon. Wasiu Ayodeji Adesina to ensure a sustainable heathy local government. I can see the effort of the Chairman; Hon. Bayewu commends.
The director secretariat local government service commission Mrs informed the staffs to prepared themselves ahead of the local government staffs training programme that is coming up very soon for the staffs' capacity building which will required computer literacy knowledge. 
Hon. Bayewu instructed the local government H.O.D for Art and Tourism department to feed him back when the Eluku festival will commence, and to let him know the modality about how the festival can be turn into international tourists attraction. This is what we need; He said. 
The Executive Chairman, Hon. Wasiu Adesina lay request emphasis on stability of staff transferred to the local government, he said most of the transferred working staffs are not stable in the local government due to relocation assignment transfer letters. 
Hon. Adesina thereby request for three (3) months duration of stay in the local government before granting any assignment transfer letter for easy and sufficient developmental growth to prevail in Ikorodu local government. Afterwords, The Chairman, Hon. Bayewu verbally acknowledged the request of three (3) months staff stay before further transfer.
The council manager, Mr. Shopitan Martins during is closing remark speech said as of this time last year this present event hall wasn't in place, the public toilet facilities are not in order, the root was dilapidated, but today the Executive Chairman was able to put in place a befitting offices. ''We are now planning to move to Agura to establish a standard structure there, which is going to be our future pride'' Shopitan said.
