Dr Nurudeen Agbaje Pronounced the Developmental Project of Governor Sanwoola-Olu In Ikorodu

Our Governor has always been a man of action, driven by his passion for rural development in Lagos State. 


As the Special Adviser to Governor Babajide Sanwo on Rural Development, it is my duty to ensure that the remote and underprivileged areas of the city receive the attention they deserve.


On the 12th of October 2023, I and my team from the Rural Development Ministry embarked on a  need assessment mission.


One of our destinations was the Agbaje Feye road, a once-neglected path that connected Adeniji Street in Aga to the central part of Ikorodu. The road had been in a deplorable state for years, causing immense inconvenience to the residents.


But today, residents are amazed that the road is smooth, recently constructed and stretched out before them. 


It was a transformation beyond what they had expected. The road had been widened and resurfaced, making it a vital artery for the community.


It is a testament to Governor Sanwo's commitment to developing rural areas in Lagos as part of his THEMES plus agenda. 


What was identified in the assessment was that residents did not figure out that this very road had been constructed by Mr Governor himself. 


Mr Governor's vision to elevate rural areas in Lagos is in full swing. 


The road construction brought a renewed sense of hope and optimism to residents. The Agbaje Feye road is not just a physical link; it is a symbol of the governor's dedication to uplifting the lives of those in rural communities.


Lagos State is working tirelessly and the journey to enhance the quality of life for all residents has only just begun!
