​Group of Lawyers Equatorial Seating For Mohbad Corona Inquest.

Equatorial seating for the upcoming superstar, late Ilerioluwa Imole Oladimeji Aloba famously known as Mohbad commenced on Friday, September 29th, 2023 at Ita-Elewa magistrate court, Ikorodu, Lagos State, Nigeria to officially investigate what led to the cause of his d*ath (Corona Inquest).

In an interview with the Falana & Falana Chambers, represented by Lawyer Funmi Falana, said; the essence of the corona is to inquire into the cause of Mohbads’ d*ath; it is an equisitorial seating and not adversarial. So, what the group of lawyers had done today is to decide on the modalities of how and when Mohbads’ d*ath occurred, and to as well bring the witnesses to court in other to get the cause of justice. 

Says, first; We need to know the procedure to take. We have fixed the next date for October 13th, 2023 to bring the witnesses to court. We want to assure the public that the cause of justice will decided.

Falana & Falana chambers further expressed; that her message for the youth is to keep calm, and allow peace to rein; as they will get to the root of the cause of Mohbads’ d*ath, and of cause, the cause of justice will be served, so that such will never happen again. We hereby assure the Nigerian public that justice will not be aborted, said; Lawyer Funmi Falana, representing Mohbads’ family.

TNKAY Music Worldwide lawyer, Mr Akinpelu Ogunbona, Esq, said during an interview with him, that today’s court seating is “Not a court of conviction, but preliminary court of fact findings”. 

He further emphasized that things are happening in the entertainment industry which is not for public consumption. “The issues affecting the upcoming artists, and the exploitations of the record label companies, are the major problems that the Nigerian entertainment industry is having today”. 

He thereby thinks tank an opinion, that “if the Nigeria regulatory compliance can be reawakened to checkmate the affairs between the upcoming artists and the record label companies, it will help a lot in proffering free and fair solutions to the issues affecting Nigeria Entertainment industry”.

Lawyer Akinpelu Ogunbona, further explain that the major cause of the problem in the entertainment industry is “signing a deal at the lowest low” without thinking about the futuristic consequences. In the long run, they discover that their agreement is not even a fair deal. 

So, the record label finds it easy to exploit them; exploiting their weaknesses, and they're exploiting their vulnerability because, at their initial stage, they just need survival; they settled for anything.

And as for the record label. You don’t just register a record label company and start employing people; there are some Government regulatory compliances.

Lawyer Akinpelu further stated, that as a group of lawyers from “TNKAY Entertainment World”, the first thing they request is their lawyer and their biological parent in the deal for proper documentation and understanding of ANKAY terms and conditions. If not, we get them or tell them to get a professional lawyer that will solicit for them for better understanding and also notify them percentage required from their income for their lawyer before proceeding. 

Akinpelu thereby urges the Nigerian government to skills the “Government Regulatory Compliance” to checkmate the welfare of both parties in the entertainment world.

There are three (3) categories of the group of lawyers seated in attendance today, which are as follows:

1. Falana & Falana Chamber, represented by Lawyer Funmi Falana to speak for Mohbads’ family.

2. TNKAY Entertainment World Lawyers, speaking against the issues affecting the Nigerian Entertainment Industry.

3. Julius Ogun, one among the group of Lawyers counselling for the public interest.  

The press are not allowed into the courtroom due to superior order given from above, said the audile.

But, we are expecting to see the following witnesses in the next court seating according to research through the Information Act, to officially address Mohbad’s corona Inquest on the 13th of October, 2023.

1. The autopsy & the result to see

2. The Nurse that attended the autopsy

3. The people police have arrested

4. Mohbad’s family members

5. Probably his wife (because the corona Inquest will involve everybody that has contact with Mohbad, before the cause of his d*ath.

When all of these reports are out, they will not be kept secret for everyone, said; anonymous.
