​Oba Sekunmade of Ipakodo Kingdom Ordained Ikorodu West LCDA Chairman As The “Bobatunluse Of Ipakodo Kingdom”.

His Royal Majesty, Oba Basiru Aremu Sotonwa (FNSE), Sekunmade of Ipakodo kingdom has ordained the Chairman of Ikorodu West Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Sulaimon Kazeem Olanrewaju (S.K.O.) as the “Bobatunluse Of Ipakodo” on Saturday, October 7th, 2023 at the Sekunmade Palace pavilion, Ipakodo-Ebute, Ikorodu, Lagos State, Nigeria to work in synergy the traditional rulers under his control for infrastructural growth of Ipakodo and Ikorodu west jurisdiction at large. 


During His Royal Majesty's speech, Oba Sotonwa encouraged the people of Ipakodo and Ikorodu-west to stay calm and patient with Hon. S.K.O. Says, the present situation of the country (Nigeria) is on re-strategic Planning to make the country better.


Says, His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is striving, and working tirelessly to make sure the country attains sustainable improvements in all government sectors to favour the masses. “With time, every impossibility aspect will become possible”, but this requires a gradual process to be achievable, says; Oba Sekunmade of Ipakodo Kingdom.


He further expatiated more reasons why the people of Ikorodu West LCDA need to work with the Chairman, said; that Hon. S.K.O. is a professional “Accountant and Auditor”, who has gone through the knowledgeable skills of money management. “He is doing his job, let’s work with him for the development of our jurisdiction”, which is part of the reason why I had ordained him to be the “Bobatunluse of Ipakodo Kingdom”. 


We are expecting more from you in terms of Ipakodo and Ikorodu West infrastructural developments at large; you know what to do, “Government allocations are there for you to make use of”. Oba Sekunmade of Ipakodo Kingdom urges Chief Bobatunluse of Ipakodo, Hon. Sulaimon Kazeem Olanrewaju (SKO), Ikorodu West LCDA Chairman.


Prince Olasunkanmi Shotonwa in his address, said; The chieftaincy title offered was stated with guidance by the King, high Chiefs, and Baales, that Honorary Chief “Bobatunluse of Ipakodo” should not take advantage of chieftain given, by not visiting the Sekunmade palace for strategic midst of sustainable development of Ikorodu West jurisdiction.


In an interview with Hon. SKO, said; that for the Royal Majesty to have found him worthy to be the “Bobatunluse of Ipakodo Kingdom” means a message for him to carry out; “I will deliver the message, and work with the structure to attain the growth of Ikorodu west LCDA”, The Chairman attested.
