Yesterday, Wednesday, October 11th, 2023; on International Day of the Girl Child, the Lagos East Senatorial District Legislator, Chairman, Senate Committee On Banking, Insurance & Other Financial Institutions, Distinguished Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru brimmed with pride as he contemplate the remarkable progress made in empowering numerous young girls through STEM education at the SAIL Innovation Lab. 


Says, This endeavor is a shared vision between his wife, Mrs. Feyisola Abiru, and himself, brought to life through the SAIL Foundation.


Within each coding class, science experiment, and engineering challenge, “I bear witness to the astounding potential harbored by these girls”, he said. 


Senator further inform, We are not solely imparting STEM knowledge; we are nurturing their self-assurance to overcome obstacles, equipping them with the skills to innovate, and fostering the belief that their aspirations know no bounds.


To every girl child out there, always remember: your brilliance knows no bounds. You are not merely the future; you are the present, actively shaping our world with your intelligence and unwavering determination. On this special day, let us amplify their voices, celebrate their remarkable achievements, and persistently create pathways for them to thrive.
