World Food Day 2023: iCare Foundation Synergised With The Federal Government Initiative.

To commemorate World Food Day and the 7th Anniversary of iCare Food bank; iCare Foundation has distributed an additional 500 food packs to those in need, including the elderly, physically challenged individuals, and other vulnerable in the Ikorodu Federal Constituency.
In synergy with the Federal Government Initiative, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Food Intervention agenda through iCare foundation pioneered person, Hon. Babajimi Adegoke Benson and Wife, Mrs Adejumoke Benson under its Director General, Mayor Muyideen Sanwoola has pronounced hope to the vulnerable in Ikorodu Federal constituency, that icare mercy bag tagged as “Apo-Anu” food palliatives for the month of December 2023 will come in big form through synergy with the Federal Government Initiative, as a Renewed Hope Food Intervention agenda in other to feed many vulnerable as possible and as well as to reduce their tenses.
“I feels good and sad as well, to see people hungry, We are doing our best, but my wish for them is to also be the ones giving food to the people” in their various neighborhoods as a result of giving back to their community”. That is why I said; “I feel good and sad”, said; Rep. Babajimi Adegoke Benson, MHR.
This was said during an interview with Rep. Babajimi Benson at Ikorodu Federal constituency office, ebute-Igbogbo road, by solebo estate junction, Ikorodu, Lagos, Nigeria on Saturday, October 21st, 2023.
In addition, iCare Foundation pioneered person, Honorable Jimi Benson was honored to receive the Distinguished Honorary Award from the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), the Awards of Recognition from the National Youth Assembly of Nigeria (NYAN), the Service Award from the Imota Students' Union and the Excellence Award from the National Association of Ikorodu Division Students (NAIDS NATIONAL).
In an interview with the Lagos State speaker of the National Youth Assembly of Nigeria, Prince Aderibigbe Adeola urges every Nigerian youth to be law abiding citizens, and they should remember that everything that Nigeria has is to be preserved and defended by the youths.
Also in an interview with Imota Student’s Union President, Comrade Odufesi Temitope Rukayat, said; networking is the most important thing, engaging themselves as a student in different activities, e.g education activities. Meet people together, and together you can achieve through networking.
These youth groups recognized Ikorodu Federal Representative inspirational leadership, dedication, extraordinary commitment, visionary guidance, and significant contributions to the development of young people in Lagos and Nigeria as a whole.
He thereby sincerely appreciate the former Chairman of Ijede LCDA, Hon. Fatiu Salisu, the youth groups, iCare Foundation under the management of its Director General, Mayor Muyideen Sanwoola, Supervisory Councillors, and all other constituents for their presence and support.
