​IkoroduOga 32nd Edition Envisage Transformation Through Football.

The Thirty Second (32nd) IkoroduOga Development Association (IKODASS) festival, organized a youth football tournament to strategically catch the young and project their talent to the world. 


The football match is established with obtainable forms of registration to engage every community participation in the entertainment activities. 


The qualified football teams will kick off their Semi-finals, and finals at the same time, at the Ita-Elewa Youth Centre, Ikorodu, Lagos State, Nigeria today, Friday, November, 10th, 2023 to discover the talented ones among them.


In an interview with the IKODASS Youth Representative, Comrade Mukadas Lamina, said; Football is life; just like other sports. But, IKODASS Executives gave special attention to football, particularly the 32nd edition of the Ikorodu-Oga Festival. 


“The football tournament has been established before now, but this time around, we have come out enmass to involve Ikorodu youth in large numbers to create opportunities for them”. We started with 32 teams. 


Says, Ikodass executives, basically made the football tournament available for the school ages under 15 years, we are looking at catching them young. We want them to be actively involved in what we are doing. The 32nd Ikodass Executives took their time to go in-depth by screening them with their ages so that they could fit in for what we intend to do, Says, the Youth Representative.


This is a maiden edition. We've been doing it long before now. But this time around, we are coming out colourfully, beautifully and in a better way. 


We are out to mobilize our youth for greatness; CEO ''EKOONPOINT ENTERTAINMENT & Lounge 63, Ambassador Victor Omowale Anthony is the sponsor for this year's edition, as well as a youth ambassador, said; The Ikodass Youth Representative. 


He further said, the Ikodass 32nd festival is organized with tradition, custom, tourism, enlightenment and a lot of exposure, and expects to see more Ikorodu people from the diaspora. Let all embrace it, said; the Ikodass Youth Representative, Comrade Mukadas Lamina. 


The CEO, EKOONPOINT/LOUNGE 63 also rejoice with His Royal Majesty, Oba Kabir Adewale Shotobi on the 32nd IkoroduOga Festival. 

In an interview with the Executive Member of Ikodass, Honourable Okematti Azeez Adebola, Ikodass Executive Member, said; We are just trying to bring the youths the talented youth together, via football competition which we all know that football is like activities for uniformity that can bring people together to share the same goal and idea.
