​Hall Of Fame Induction: Rep. Jimi Benson Visualised Strong ICT Hub Centre In Ikorodu

The Ikorodu Federal House Of Representative, Hon. Babajimi Adegoke Benson formally got Inducted into membership of the Prestigious Ikorodu Division Hall Of Fame on Friday, December 8th, 2023 at Ikorodu Ultra modern Town Hall, Olubi Street, Ikorodu, Lagos State, Nigeria to historically showcase the Ikorodu Indigenous past, and Present heroes for the young once to emulate.

Chairman of the group, “Ikorodu Division Resource Development Group (IDRDG)”, Sir Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe, FNSE, GAC Member, welcome Rep. Jimi Benson into the Hall of Fame to showcase the indigenous legendaries and Hero’s biographies.

During the process of viewing the biography frames, Hon. Jimi Benson, said, at the view of Mr. Adeseye Akinola Ogunlewe JNR, that “I outround him in London”, and also point view the video record scenario on his mobile smart phone to show proof. 

Rep. Jimi Benson’s comment at the view of Lagos East Senatorial District Legislator, Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru biography frame at the Hall of Fame expressed friendship as he outrightly said, “Senator Abiru, my very good friend”.

Rep. JB further Honored Prince Abiodun Ogunleye in identification as he officially pronounced His titles as an APC political Party Chieftain, as well as a Member of the Governor Advisory Council (GAC); “Sir, Prince, and Excellency”, he said.

Hon. “Prince” Babajimi Adegoke Benson appreciate Chairman of the Group, Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe for counting him worthy to be privileged among Ikorodu Division Hall of Fame.

Says, Hall of Fame is an historical place where student can come, pupils, Secondary School, and even himself. It’s a learning place, “I have scene giant among men; Internationally, Locally, and in Nigeria”. Giant in various skills; Politics, Medical, Fashion, including the richest woman in Africa, Mrs. Folorunsho Alakija, High Chief Odofin Adewunmi Ogunsanya, SAN, Senator “Prince” Adeseye Ogunlewe and so on.

The Ikorodu Federal House of Representative, Honourable “Prince” Babajimi Adegoke Benson said during his induction of “Ikorodu Hall of Fame”, that His political journey started with me investing heavily in ICT. “I saw it as a tool for taking our youth from from zero to being heroes”. This is a good way of other supporting and building their skills. 

“Very soon Ikorodu will be One of The Strong ICT Hub Centre in Lagos”, said, Hon. Jimi Benson, and financially pledges to give in regards to promote digital literacy across Ikorodu Division.

Says, the Lagos East Senatorial District Legislator, Distinguished Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru is already doing well, “he has invested heavily in ICT” through Sail Innovation Lab (SAIL).

Says, “We are in our part to set up ICT centres in about three schools so as to catch them young, and we want to have an IT mentality across Ikorodu Division”. 

“I'm extremely proud of this initiative, and I am also going to be part of the progress. I'm going to think of how I can add value to them within the next couple of months”. 

This is a centre that should be owned by all, because when you train a child, “ICT education becomes a visa to prosperity”. Rep. Jimi Benson, MHR thereby appreciate Chairman of the group, “Ikorodu Division Resource Development Group (IDRDG)”, Sir Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe, FNSE, for putting in the hard work. “I don’t know how daddy got the energy, @80, he is still up and doing, JB thereby request everyone present to ask what is the formula of his activeness? 

Senator Adeseye Ogunleye feedback to revealed his formular method of activeness as “God’s grace”. 

Hon. Jimi Benson encourages everyone to pray for God’s grace in abundant, said;  “God’s grace choose the unqualified and qualify the chosen”.
