​Jimi Benson Has Change The Narrative Of Politics In Ikorodu Division; Says Amazon.

The “Amazon”, group of female aspirants in politics attest to the effectiveness of the Ikorodu Federal House of Representative, Hon. “Prince” Babajimi Adegoke Benson, MHR, in Ikorodu Division through road construction, Pupils & Secondary Schools renovation, ICT Centers, Electricity power Supplier (Transformer), Female Empowerment, Youth Empowerment, and so on. 


This was pronounced at the iCare Foundation end-of-the-year annual party on Thursday, December 21st, 2023 at Ikorodu Federal  Constituency office, located at  Ebute Ipakodo Rd, by Solebo estate junction, Ikorodu, Lagos State, Nigeria.


In an interview session at IKD 106.1 FM with an Amazon member, comrade Patricia Okosodo, said, that Amazon is made through the initiative of twenty-four female aspirants in politics in synergy with Rep. Jimi Benson due to his leadership ways of mentoring. 


Says, “Jimi Benson is one of our patrons and mentors, Ashiwaju Olorunfunmi Bashorun, GAC member is also our patron, including the Director General of iCare Foundation, Mayor Muyideen Sanwoola”. Jimi Benson is someone to emulate, and respect based on all his antecedents and effective ways of leadership skills to society. “He has been part of us and we have been part of Him”, she said.


She added that the iCare Foundation annual celebration has been on for so many years, since Jimi Benson's first emergence.


This party was established to celebrate with the people of Ikorodu Division. As you can see, she said, all political chieftains, members, Youth organizations, Female group organizations, and others are here present to celebrate what Jimi Benson has done in terms of upgrading Ikorodu Division jurisdictions at large.


“Hon. Jimi Benson has changed the narratives of Ikorodu divisional politics towards the young persons to the extent of thinking outside the box, while in politics in other to reach out to the masses without being biased or partisan”. 


If the masses can exemplify their quotas towards nation building, and every political officeholder can play an effective role with Rep. Jimi Benson in regards to developmental projects accomplishment in Ikorodu division, especially road construction, and well-being of the people; “a lot will go well without any single complain”, because the political officeholders have a large role to play in terms of community leadership, said; Amazon member, Comrade Patricia Okosodo.
