​Jimi Benson’s Annual Celebration Pronounce Good Representation of Ikorodu Federal Constituency.

The Ikorodu Federal House of Representative, Hon. “Prince” Babajimi Adegoke Benson, MHR, had an annual Xmas Party to celebrate with the people of Ikorodu division in appreciation of their support and believing in him on Thursday, December 21st, 2023 at Ikd 106.1 Fm slash Ikorodu Federal Representative Political Constiency office located at  Ebute Ipakodo Rd, by Solebo estate junction, Ikorodu, Lagos State, Nigeria.


This annual celebration is organized to have fun and unite everyone under his attested coverage areas as one, which attracts a series of All Progressives Congress (APC) political chieftains and dignitaries in attendance. 


In attendance are: The Governor Advisory Council Member, former Lagos State Deputy Governor, and Ikorodu Division APC Superior Party Chieftain, Sir Prince Abiodun Ogunleye, FCA, KJW; APC Apex Deputy Chairman 1, Alhaji “Prince” Musbau Gafarr; APC Party State Secretary, Hon. Adeola Jokomba; Ikorodu Division APC Party Chairman, Otunba Tijani Jimoh Olasunkanmi; APC Party Chairman, Ikorodu Central, Hon. Waheed Animashaun; APC Party Chairman, Ikorodu West, Otunba Adebayo Lawson; APC Party Chairman of Igbogbo Bayeku LCDA, Taiwo Orenuga; Lagos East Senatorial District Woman Leader, Mrs. Wonuola Oshinowo; APC Chairman, Mabadeje Zone; Pastor Kehinde Ayanbadejo, JP; Legislator, Distinguished Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru ably represented by Dr (Otunba) Saheed Ibikunle; Lagos State Special Adviser on Rural Development & Chieftaincy Affairs, Dr “Prince” Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje; Executive Chairman, Ikorodu North LCDA, Bldr. Banjo Adeola Adebisi; Executive Chairman, Ijede LCDA, Hon. Motunrayo Alogba; Ijede LCDA Executive Chairman, Hon. Matunrayo Alogba; Ikorodu West LCDA’s Vice Chairman, Hon. Segun Aluko; the Ikorodu Local Government Legislative Leader, Hon. Adebowale Ajayi; Ikorodu West Council Leader, Hon. Enitan Jessica Oba, the Ikorodu Divisional Councillors; Ikorodu Division Local Government Supervisors; Political office holders and so on were present to celebrate with political members, groups of associations, and like minds.


Different i-witnesses from each Local Government and LCDA that made the Ikorodu division testify to the great impact of Rep. Jimi Benson through Schools, Electricity power supply, Empowerment and road infrastructural development.


Hon. Babajimi Adegoke Benson in his statement, said; “If you did not inform me about what is going on in your area, I won't know your pressing needs in the Local Government and LCDAs”. “I am not the one doing all the projects, we are all doing it together”. He said this uniformly for inclusive governance. He then urged the people to have fun. 


Hon. Princess Adejumoke Benson proffered financial blessings to the first, second, and third-best dancers, and other competitions within the iCare Foundation members, Ikd 106.1 FM radio staff, and the political members. 


The Director General, of iCare Foundation, Mayor Muyideen Sanwoola announce the winners, following the list of qualified names given to him by a former Councillor in Ikorodu local government, Ward B, Hon. Kazeem Oni-Orisan popularly known as Kalokalo. Their names are as follows below:👇🏿


1. A Youth Cooper, Ilesanmi Abdulai.

2. Ikd 106.1 FM staff, Mistura Olowu.

3. Political members from Ward D Ikorodu central geopolitical zone, Bisola Abisoye, and other competition winners.


Awards were then presented to Hon. Jimi Benson for his caring and impaction attributes by the Amazon Women in Politics and the iCare Foundation members.
