​Oba Shotobi Hospitalize Free Annual Medical Outreach & 200 Jamb Forms Offer To The Students & Community

His Royal Majesty, Oba Kabiru Adewale Shotobi, HRM, hospitalized free annual medical outreach, and offers 200 2023/2024 Jamb Forms to the students across Ikorodu division today, Friday, January 5th, 2024 in the Ayangbure palace of Ikorodu Kingdom, Lagos State, Nigeria.


The free medical outreach was presented by the founder of the Global Institute for Healthcare Advancement (GIHCA), Dr Adeyemi Gafari in different sections, which are as follows below:


  • Free Medical Consultation 
  • Free Heart To Heart Counseling
  • Free Blood Pressure Check 
  • Free Glucose Level Check 
  • Health Talk slash Education 


While Oba Ayangbure free Jamb Forms offer to the beneficiaries was sponsored by former Executive Assistant (Maritime Affairs) to the Governor of Lagos State, Prince Yommy Shopitan, meticulously coordinated by Ikorodu Ambassadors Group pioneered person, Ambassador “Prince” Rasheed Fatuga, and presented by His Royal Majesty, Oba (Engr) Kabiru Adewale Shotobi, HRM, and Hon. Babajimi Adegoke Benson, MHR.


The Jamb Forms offering was said to be monitored for ten years after their prospective results to see Twenty doctors, Twenty Accountants, Twenty Engineers, and Twenty Obas from Ikorodu Division. 


The free medical outreach facilitated by the Ayangbure of Ikorodu was able to reachout to over Two Hundred and fifty (250) people in the community and One Hundred Twenty (120) teenagers were able to benefit from the 200 Jamb Forms Offer to start with.


A series of dignitaries were in attendance to witness both activities in the Royal kingdom for record purposes. Among the dignitaries is Ikorodu Federal House of Representative, Hon. “Prince” Babajimi Adegoke Benson, MHR; His Royal Majesty, Oba Kabiru Adewale Shotobi; The Oniba of Iba in Lagos State, His Royal Majesty, Oba Sulaimon Raji; The Ikorodu Divisional High Chief, Baales, and Erelus and so on to receive the beneficiaries.


Hon. “Prince” Babajimi Adegoke Benson in his public address commended the effort of Prince Yommy Shopitan for sponsoring such educational grooming despite he is not in the Government anymore, and attested to Kabiyesi’s revealed statement of Ibile Federal University establishment coming to Ikorodu Division. “Oniba of Iba has gotten Lagos State University, so as the Ayangbure of Ikorodu own Federal University”, said; Rep. Jimi Benson.


He added that each letter award is for free 2024/2024 Jamb form which was sponsored by “Prince Yommy Shopitan”.


Also Quotes, according to the former President of America, Barrack Obama; “If you want to keep Blackman in the dark, put that thing you don’t want him to know in the book, he will not read it”, and Late Obafemi Awolowo also said, that Visa to prosperity is Education”. This was said to commend all beneficiaries for being part of the tertiary educational process. 


Says, all the Ikorodu Divisional Obas are powerful people, because among them are Engineers, Accountants, Lawyers, and so on, said the National House of Representatives will try to give Royalties their constitutional role for them to be more relevant, and also assured those who are interested to join the arm forces should come and see him become chief of naval staff, and chief of Army staff.


Speaking, Hon. Jimi Benson commended Prince Yommy Shopitan for thinking about empowering people to become relevant in life, and he was also strategic about thinking of productive 20 lawyers, 20 Accountants, and 20 Engineers in Ikorodu Division. He thereby prayed for the beneficiaries to become successful in their process.


The free admission letter qualifies the beneficiaries for the free Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board(JAMB) which registration commences on Monday, January 15th, 2024 and closes on Monday, January 26th, 2024, while the dignitaries rejoice with the students. 


The Ikorodu Ambassadors strongly advised every beneficiaries to contact them from Monday between 9 am through 2 pm on Friday for the 2024-2025 Jamb registration. Kabiyesi thereby congratulated the beneficiaries for the opportunity given. “The love that Hon. Jimi Benson has for Ikorodu Division Education is unlimited”, said; Oba Shotobi.


In an interview with the Founder of the Global Institute for Healthcare Advancement (GIHCA), Dr Adeyemi Gafari, said; it is their first event in Ikorodu township, the fact that he schooled in Ikorodu and he felt it is very important to give back to his community where he grew up from despite he is an indigenous identity from Ikorodu.


He further explained in detail the effectiveness of some of the free medical Healthcare which are Free Medical Consultation, Free Heart Heart Counseling, Free Blood Pressure Check, Free Glucose Level Check, and Health Talk slash Education. 


“I am encouraged by the turnout, he said, and also gave a free rice package and financial token to assist them in buying drugs and appreciated the community for turning out to the medical healthcare services, while some of them get referrals to see the Doctors in Ikorodu General Hospital in other to sustainably taking good care of their health issues”.


“Health is wealth”, Dr Adeyemi Gafari urges the beneficiaries to be careful about what they eat because as people grow old, the body gets broken down little by little”,  he said.


In an interview with His Royal Majesty, Oba Kabiru Adewale Shotobi, said; is a joyful thing for him to see the Ikorodu sons and daughters across the globe doing remarkably well and excellently in their field of profession. 


It is a yearly event, as the founder promised he will always be available to sustainably offer free medical health care in the Ayangbure palace, while Kabiyesi has organized it to be during Ikorodu-Oga Festive activities so that more people can benefit from the free healthcare services. 


Oba Shotobi added the Government cannot do it alone, one or two people will benefit from free medical healthcare services today, “I enjoy people coming out to know their health status for them to see necessary reasons of taking good care of their health.


“Little makes an impact”, Kabiyesi said regarding 200 free Jamb Forms offered about the population ratio of the people living in Ikorodu.


The beneficiaries thereby appreciate His Royal Majesty, Oba Kabiru Adewale Shotobi for facilitating such free medical healthcare and thank GIHCA founder, Dr Adeyemi Gafari for showing the hands of love to the community.
