​Landmark Achievement: Hon. Justice Habeeb Adewale Olumuyiwa Abiru Becomes First Ikorodu Indigene to Serve on Supreme Court of Nigeria


Monday, 26th February 2024, marked a historic milestone as Hon. Justice Habeeb Adewale Olumuyiwa Abiru took the oath of office as the Honourable Justice of the Supreme Court. He is the first indigene of Ikorodu to be appointed as a Justice of the Nigeria's apex court. This remarkable feat is not only a personal triumph for His Lordship, the Abiru family but also a momentous occasion for the entire Ikorodu Division, and Lagos State as a whole.


With unwavering dedication and exceptional legal exploits, His Lordship has earned this prestigious position, setting a precedent for future generations. As we extend our heartfelt congratulations to Hon. Justice Abiru, we also celebrate the collective achievement of Ikorodu as a whole. 


May Allah (SWT) continue to bless His Lordship with wisdom and insight as he assumed his new role, guiding him to uphold justice and fairness in the highest court of the land.
