​HON. GBOLAHAN OGUNLEYE, HON. SULIMON KAZEEM RESTORED PEACE AT THE OGOLONTO HOUSE DEMOLITION.


Hon. (Lion) Batife Daisi extends his gratitude to Hon. Gbolahan Adetokunbo Ogunleye representing Ikorodu constituency (I) and The Executive Chairman of Ikorodu West (LCDA) Hon. Sulimon Kazeem for their prompt intervention on the illegal Demolition of properties in Ogolonto Area of Majidun, Ikorodu. 


A number of protesters turn out in mass to protest against the illegal demolition of houses and shops in the early hours of today 5th March 2024. 


The group stormed the street to demonstrate their grievances on the current happenings in their community, their presence where felt and all their grudges were acknowledged and will be addressed as promised by Hon. Ogunleye the Lagos State House of Assembly member and The executive chairman of Ikorodu West LCDA Hon Sulimon Kazeem Olanrewaju. 


Hon. Ogunleye and the chairman of IKD West LCDA came through at the right time to intercede and moderate the aggrieved, ensuring them that this particular situation will be looked into, and justice will be served accordingly. 


Hon. Batife alongside his colleagues, Hon. Muyideen Yusuf (super for Chieftancy and Agric), Hon. Dairo (super for Budget and planing) and Hon. Salau Jibike (Super for Women and Poverty Alleviation), The baale of Majidun Ilaje Chief Omoyele and Ogolonto Chief Fatola, who were able to call on the Council boss and the house of assembly member to intervene as the issues was beyond their powers, Meanwhile the call that was put through to the Executive Chairman and Hon. Ogunleye restored peace in the community.
