According to research, The four basic tactics of “Information Communication Technology” have been stated as follows below:👇🏻

  1. Information security, 
  2. Computer Technical Support, 
  3. Business Software Development &
  4. Database and network management.

The functions of the aforementioned ICT concept are:👇🏻


  1. Information security: functions to protect sensitive information from unauthorized activities, including inspection, modification, recording, and any disruption or destruction. 


The goal is to ensure the safety and privacy of critical data such as customer account details, financial data or intellectual property.


  1. Computer Technical Support: functions as a Monitor and maintains computer systems and networks which provide support in a face-to-face capacity, over the phone or via remote desktop software, helping staff or clients set up systems or resolve issues. troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.


  1. Business Software Development: Software development holds a critical role in modern business success. 


These tools enable businesses to develop innovative products and services, automate and optimize business processes, improve the customer experience, and transform operations to become more agile and responsive.


  1. Database and network management:A logically integrated database is at the heart of an integrated network management system, providing the interface between all functions of the network management system. 


The database management system which controls and administers this database must provide the needed level of performance for the various functions.


A DBMS provides the main functions:

  • Granting multiple users concurrent access to a single database.
  • Establishing and maintaining security rules and user access rights.
  • Backing up data regularly and recovering it quickly should a breach occur.
  • Setting up database rules and standards to protect data integrity.


Having a holistic knowledge of these IT core concepts and functions will give oversight of Information Communication Technology at large.
