​Youth Capacity Building — Rep. Jimi Benson Projects.

The Ikorodu Federal House of Representatives member, Hon. “Prince” Babajimi Adegoke Benson through iCare Foundation has projected a Six-Week creative capacity building of the Ikorodu Divisional Youths for them to be self-productive and money-making identity.


This skill acquisition empowerment training commenced Yesterday, Thursday, April 4th, 2024 at the Nigerian Army Force Resettlement Centre (NAFRC), Oshodi, Lagos State, Nigeria. 


Today's lectures are focused on Financial Accounting and Entrepreneurship skills as a business owner, keeping financial records as a yardstick and differentiating moderate Risk, Reasonable risk, and Unreasonable risks. 


This programme is a Federal Government initiative, established to creatively capacitate the Nigerian Arm Forces retirees, and Ikorodu Divisional Youths for them to be sustainably productive in their career businesses. 


Below is the list of courses available to be taught about👇: 

Information Technology, 

Photography,

Fish Farming,

Fashion Designing, 

Snacks production, 

Cosmetics production, 

Catering, and so on.

Senate urges Customs Service, NSA to lift petrol supply restriction to border towns

  The Senate on Tuesday urged the   Nigeria Customs Service   and the National Security Adviser (NSA) to urgently lift the  restriction on supply of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) within 20 kilometers radius of communities bordering other countries around the country.  He noted that the smuggling of the product to the border communities which was is later transferred to neighbouring countries contributed to the fuel subsidy crisis that the nation was grappling with for a very long. He noted that the restriction placed on the supply of the product to the border communities as a result of smuggling of the product  across the border to the neighbouring countries is no longer justified considering that fuel subsidy has been removed.
