​2024 Celebration: Ongoing Ikorodu “Liwe” Traditional Festival.

The Ikorodu tradition has commenced the 2024 “LIWE” festival at midnight today, Saturday, June 1, 2024, in Isele geopolitical zones to protect and promote the prosperous Ikorodu people at large.


This annual traditional functionality does not prevent people from coming in and going out of Ikorodu Division, but only exists at the main Indigenous arena part of Ikorodu Central which is as follows below:👇🏻

Ajina arena; Ladega; ItunNla; Obun-Ale; Ita-Elewa; Ireshen road; Anibaba; Ota-Ona; Solomade; Ayangburen road; Suberu Ogunsanya; Banjoko Olowu;

Ojogbe; Ojubode; Lowa, and so on.

On this day, the females are expected to be indoors cooking and taking good care of the children; only male children from all tribes living in Ikorodu are considered to be outside.


All residents from different tribes should bear with the cultural system, the Indigenous expressed.
