​Rep. Jimi Benson’s Mentorship Spirit Is An Innate Ability.

Quality a leader or mentor requires having leadership skills that will positively influence people to cultivate the caring morality of positive ability.


Being conscious of Leadership productivity qualifies every human to possess a leader, while the spirit of leadership refers to the attitudes needed to truly manifest as leaders. Without the spirit of leadership, the leadership spirit will be dormant.


This prompted to review and revert the mentorship functionality zeal of Honourable “Prince” Babajimi Adegoke Benson, MHR has been and is a Member of the 8th, 9th, and 10th National Assembly, representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency, and also Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Defence as an innate ability from God. 


It only requires God’s grace to maintain and sustainably improve through conscious acts of leadership and mentorship.


His mentorship and leadership have entailed being able to deliver his entire constituency with the most pressing needs of the people of Ikorodu Division at large.


  1. Healthcare: 80-Bed Mother and Child Hospitality to Imota LCDA.


  1. Welfarism: Mercy bag tagged as Apo-Anu on monthly basics to the vulnerable across Ikorodu Division without being partisan. 


  1. Road Infrastructure: Over 40 road infrastructures have been constructed since the third emergence of his distinguished office in Ikorodu Division. E.g; Egbe-Lara, Offin-Oreta Road (Igbogbo Bayeku Lcda); Ori-Okuta Road (Imota lcda); Pashoku Street (Ikorodu LG); Lambo Lasunwon Road (Ikorodu North lcda); Lucky fiber road (Ikorodu North lcda); Ori-Okuta Road reconstruction (Ikorodu-west lcda); Information Communication Technology Centre (Ongoing Ikorodu LG); Provision of 2,000 Solar systems to the residents against heat waves (Ikorodu Division randomly); Youth Empowerment Training for capacity building to renew hope and gradually eradicating poverty in the nation as It entails in the Democrats Youth slogan (Build The Youths, Build The Nation),  and so many more.

Rep. Jimi Benson; a Nigerianpoliticianwas first elected into the Nigerian House of Representatives in 2015 to represent the Ikorodu Federal Constituency in Lagos State. He was re-elected for a second term in 2019 and has since been re-elected for a third term during the 2023 Nigerian general election in Nigeria.
