Hon. Ogunleye Gbolahan Adetokunbo (OGA), a legislative member of the Lagos State House of Assembly (LAHA), representing Ikorodu constituency 1 was born on the 6th of December 1974 to the family of a former Deputy Governor of Lagos State, and a Governor Advisory Council (GAC) member, “Prince Abiodun Ogunleye”, an Ikorodu Prince from “Petu Royal Family of Rademo ruling house”, and Princess Christiana Olatoun Ogunleye(Nee Thomas).

He attended Loral Nursery and Primary School and the UPE School in Fesrac Town between 1980 and 1986.


His Secondary Education was also spent in two Schools. He attended Awori College, Ojo from 1987 to 1989 where he sat for and passed his JSS Examinations. He then proceeded to the Lagos State Model Senior College, Kankon, Badagry where he sat for his Senior Secondary Examinations in 1992.

He was admitted to study Economics at the Lagos State University, Ojo, where he graduated with a BSc in Economics in the year 2000.

Hon. Ogunleye Gbolahan Adetokunbo (OGA) is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management and the Chartered Institute of Taxation, Nigeria. He is a Businessman and Farmer.

OGA is also a Director at Chrisolath Nigeria Limited (an Agric and Agro-Allied company), and the Chairman, of Brigid Diamond and Gold Nigeria Limited (an Event Management and Environmental Services Company) all the business firm exit in Lagos, Nigeria.


Politically, OGA was the Sole Administrator of Ikorodu Local Government from June 2016 to July 2017. During his administration he was able to achieve massive improvement with the tarring and lightning up of Solomade Estate; the Adaraloye roads network linked through Igbogbo Road, and the Lowa Estate roads network which is connected to Ikorodu road/Lagos Road major highway. “This road network was completed within his administration in office.


OGA was elected as a legislator to represent the people of Ikorodu constituency 1 in the recent 2023 Lagos State general election and inaugurated by the Lagos State 8th legislative speaker of the State Chamber, Hon. Mudashiru Obasa with the presence of the Lagos State Governor, His Excellency Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu on Monday, August 2024.

He assumes office on Tuesday, May 16, 2024. Being a result-oriented person, OGA is always motivated to achieve positive results in service to humanity.


OGA distributed over 100 free GCE forms annually to qualified secondary school students who are interested in education, stood up at the 8th legislative chamber of Lagos State to suggest a novel idea on how to strategically engage and feed the vulnerable ones in the society across the State to relief them from hunger in the hardship economy of Nigeria due to his love for the people of Ikorodu constituency 1 with a genuine love that is borne out of an innate desire to do good, and willing to push needed projects and Legislation that will benefit the good people of Ikorodu through cordial and cooperative relationship.

The 2nd edition of the free GCE form was 2nd disbursed GCE forms in Ikorodu Constituency 1 in his constituency’s office on Monday, August 26th, 2024.

More is yet to come. He promised to serve his constituency rightfully.
