Ikorodu-West LCDA: Hon. S.K.O Empowers Over 300 Students with Free JAMB Forms
By LaRoyal:

In a significant move to bolster education and reduce the financial burden on families, the Executive Chairman of Ikorodu-West Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Sulaimon Kazeem Olanrewaju (SKO), FCA, FCTI has officially distributed over 300 free JAMB forms to indigent students on Thursday, February 19, 2026.
The event, held at the Council Secretariat in Owutu, Agric, marks a key milestone in the administration's "War Against Illiteracy." By providing these forms, the Chairman aims to ensure that financial constraints do not stand in the way of bright, young minds seeking higher education.
To ensure transparency, the administration utilized an online registration process.
This digital approach ensured the selection was:
* Non-partisan: Open to all, regardless of political affiliation.
*Non-discriminatory: Based on merit and residency.
Beneficiaries included children of market traders, civil servants, NURTW members, and vulnerable residents within the community.

During his keynote address, Hon. Sulaimon Kazeem (FCA, FCTI) emphasized that the forms are merely a gateway, and the real work begins now.
"I encourage you all to cultivate a rigorous reading habit. Dedicate yourselves to your studies so that these forms translate into favorable academic results and, ultimately, a brighter future for our LCDA," the Chairman stated.
The atmosphere at the secretariat was one of gratitude and hope. Following the official address, the Chairman personally handed out the forms to the cheering students.

The day concluded with group photographs featuring the beneficiaries, council officials, and community leaders.
This initiative is part of a broader educational roadmap by the SKO administration to transform Ikorodu-West into a hub of academic excellence and professional growth.
