Breaking News: Conoil Filling Station At Risk As Trailer’s Driver Hit Electric Pole At Ikorodu Garage- Accident.

A loaded trailer’s driver on speed, hit an electric power supply pole in front of the Conoil filling station, beside Ikorodu central mosque (Samadani), at Ikorodu garage today, Tuesday, August 20th, 2024.

This incident occurred at exactly 3:29 am this morning.

The night traders selling at Ikorodu garage revealed that this accident was caused by the recent issues between the night truck/trailer revenue collectors and the truck/trailer drivers, which had led to one death among the revenue collectors two months ago.

Said, in this notion, the night truck/trailer’s drivers are always on high vehicle acceleration to escape from the task collectors.

A miscalculation by the driver on the highway road network led to the accident this morning. He said (anonymously).

The driver escaped and left the vehicle and the goods therein.

Affected areas have no electric light due to the life wire disconnection through an accident.
